Oh John. That's awful. I feel for you. I know the pain of having knee replacements. I've had both done. Thankfully fabulous surgeon. Makes me even more happy that I live in Australia!

Take good care of yourself x

Thanks, Neil. Glad yours were nothing like mine. I’m sure the accident made mine more challenging, but three bad surgeons in a row didn’t help, either. In the hours since this published, I’ve received emails telling me of other horror stories starring the first guy (I no longer call him a surgeon), so it’s good he’s gone.

Hi John. Do you know if that "surgeon" was struck off? Hopefully he's not butchering others elsewhere. My road, although not a terrible accident like yours, is of Rheumatoid arthritis, so my joints and tibs and fibs are pretty fucked! Apparently my first knee looked like it belonged to a 90 year old. I was 30. 😆

The way I read the website is that he’s gone. He may be somewhere else, though I certainly hope not.

I can’t even imagine having rheumatoid arthritis. I hear that’s incredibly painful. I wish you all the best managing it.

I really hope he's gone! ☺️

Thank you. Yes, it is not fun, but I've lived with it a while now. It's amazing what our bodies can tolerate.

Wishing you all the best too.

That whole thing just sounds all kinds of painful. I had a friend in the military and he messed up his back and then a ton of VA surgeries messed it up more. Too many doctors think they are gods and get away with murder.

Best of luck, fingers crossed, the whole bit.
